Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, in Computer Science or Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related equivalent disciplines.
  • 5+ years of practical working experience in the field of quality management, quality assurance, and quality control activities
  • Practical working experience in ISO 9001:2015, AS9100, CMMI, ISO 27701, DO-178 standards, guidelines and models
  • Practical working experience in JIRA, SVN, DOORS tools
  • Knowledge of Software & Systems Engineering, and the establishment and execution of related processes.
  • Analytical thinking, analysis and problem-solving,
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment,
  • Being result oriented,
  • Willing to improve oneself.
  • Performing one of engineering practices (requirement analysis, design, coding, testing, configuration management, etc.) as a member of development team,
  • Familiarity with Programming Languages,
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English required.
  • Must be able and willing to travel to field service locations as necessary

Job Description

  • Develop and execute Quality Assurance Plan
  • Complete the AS9100 Rev D requirements and present them to auditor in AS9100 audits
  • Complete the CMMI PA requirements and present them to auditor in CMMI v1.3 audits as an Appraisal Team Member
  • Complete the ISO 27001 requirements and present them to auditor in ISO 27001 audits
  • Prepare, manage, assist customer audits and complete the questionnaires requested by customers
  • Ensure independence for software development activities that require independence per RTCA/DO-178B objectives
  • Participate Joint Reviews (PMR, SSR, SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR) with customer
  • Use DOORS to control requirements and traceability data
  • Use JIRA for change request, action item, customer action item, problem report, peer review action item, internal product/process audits and risk management issues
  • Use SVN for version control
  • Prepare and release Annual Audit Plan
  • Perform process and products audits
  • Perform Supplier Audits
  • Report the results of product and process audits conducted to ensure that defined processes are followed
  • Monitor and participate to peer reviews
  • Generate and fill peer review records and data
  • Perform Transition Approval to evaluate the readiness for transitioning from one software life cycle phase to the next phase according defined criteria
  • Ensure that the software development environment has been provided as specified
  • Control verification environment, including hardware and software configurations used in tests
  • Perform Test Readiness Review checklist
  • Witness acceptance and qualification tests to ensure compliance with test plans and procedures, including dry runs
  • Perform Conformity Review prior to submitting the software for certification
  • Participate to Management reviews and report performance status to upper management
  • Participate to Configuration Control Board meetings
  • Provide feedback to company quality system, process improvement technology and to the project management for continual improvement
  • Perform process improvements as an Process Group Member
  • Submit and track to closures Corrective Action Request
  • Perform receiving inspections
